Through a research based design, Studio 2 explores the negotiation of space in post-conflict situations focusing on Belfast, a city with a strong conflictive legacy represented through contested and divided spaces. The research project explores how the architectural and urban traces of conflicts can be transformed in order to make the transition from war to peace.
Part of this project is the Walks around Belfast, directing experiences of the city towards different narratives of space, community and borders.
